Photography & Performance Art

Hi, I´m Madeleine

Photography has been a constant presence in my life for as long as I can remember.

I picked up a camera early on and never really put it down. Over the years, photography became one of my favourite places to be: behind the lens, creating spaces where people feel seen, relaxed and free to be themselves.

I work in a people-centered, intuitive way and am especially good with individuals who don’t usually feel comfortable in front of the camera. With humor, sensitivity and a strong eye for moments in between, I focus on authentic expressions, connection and presence rather than perfection. Body-focused projects and empowering environments hold a special place in my heart — helping someone feel at home in their own skin is honestly one of the most meaningful parts of my work.

Alongside photography, I have a background in performance and contemporary circus. For more than ten years, performing has been a place of exploration, movement and learning for me. I trained at the Circus Academy in Vienna and specialized in flow arts, fire performance and clownesque work. This performative background strongly shapes my photographic practice: it has trained my awareness, my ability to read rooms, and my sensitivity for timing, energy and human interaction.

Whether I’m photographing or performing, my work is ultimately about connection, presence and creating spaces where people can show up exactly as they are.
